I find it heartbreaking that Sunny just wanted to spend more time with Mari and is why he played the violin but he was too anxious and when retrieving his violin from downstairs, he pushes his sister and ironically ending their time together to an end.

You really see the theme of the guilt and misery he feels with Mari’s “demon” haunting him every second of every day because he can’t forgive himself.
