Hours before the incident, Kareena Kapoor shared moments from a "girls' night" with Sonam Kapoor, Karisma Kapoor, and Rhea Kapoor on social media. The robbery attempt occurred around 2:30 am when an unidentified man entered the Pataudi residence. Saif, attempting to intervene, sustained multiple injuries during the scuffle. He was rushed to Lilavati Hospital at 3:30 am, where he was admitted with six injuries, two of which are reportedly severe, including one near his spine.
