I’ve been using magic mouse for a few years, then I bought mx master 3s for mac been using it too 1y or more. Here are a few things you missed to mention but may be very important to some. Magic mouse very easy to clean it never gets dirty, battery life seems to last a lot longer than 3S, and 3S gets very dirty fast and almost impossible to clean. Rubber material of 3S is very bad in my opinion. Also 3S is very big many people wont feel comfortable with it, try and you will see what im saying. As for the features 3S I think has more, but most of the things you daily do both mouses will support, and with touch scroll on magic mouse you can precisely move where you want. Also 3S clicks are silent first few weeks then it start to make noise on every 2nd or 3rd click very annoying. I am personally returning to magic mouse soon just to get the black version :)

I'm brand new to the Mac scene. Got myself a Macbook Air M2, and found an old 2013 Mac Pro on eBay. Got a new Apple mouse to go with it all. I can't use this mouse for more than a few minutes without my arm cramping up! Horrible ergonomic design that I'm amazed Apple approved. Great way to turn away converts like myself from buying the accessories, since I'm afraid to dump the $130 on a keyboard now.

I know this is an older video but from my experience, I can use my magic mouse and magic keyboard throughout my devices. I have two M1 Macbook Pros and an iPad Pro. How am I doing this, I will tell you how I am doing this. They all use the same Apple ID.

This mouse is probably the result of a project where an Apple engineer bet with his colleague that he could create the worst mouse ever, and even so, Apple fans would continue buying and defending it. I cannot believe this is a serious project.

are you getting any issues in mac with logitec MX 3. Lots of people are experiencing lags apparently

If you consider it as a one button mouse, it becomes closer to a finger on iOS. Probably the intention because Steve fought heavily against multiple input mice.

Even with the downsides, I am still getting this mouse because it’s the only one I know that is capable of smooth scrolling. I read a lot of web novels/comics and the smooth scrolling in MacOS is the best way to enjoy it.

I just purchased a magic mouse and just tried using it on a standard mouse pad, but its very unresponsive. I noticed on a lot of surfaces, the mouse lens is barely picking them up and only works on a flat hard surface. Does this mouse work on standard mouse pads for you?

I have a Magic Mouse that I've used with an iPad Pro, but I have my first ever Macbook Pro (M2 Pro) on its way — I have used Windows since 3.1 — so was pleased to realise that the Magic Mouse would work with the MBP. The thing is, I just thought it was an iPad mouse, and I knew nothing about gestures, so it's all very exciting. I was going to get a Master 3S for the MBP as I have used MX series mice since forever, and have used a Master 3S with my Windows 11 desktop for several years. But after watching this, I cancelled the Master 3S for the MBP, and will give the Magic Mouse a proper try. So thanks for putting me straight.
One thing I am wondering about, is that I've watched another review which complained about the Master 3S low poling rate of just 90hz. My Windows one seems to work smoothly enough, but the reviewer said his was jerky with his MBP. I guess I can try my current 3S using the dongle, and decide after that.

logi pop mouse, three bluetooth device capable and not sure (doubt) if the apple mouse will do this but when my iPad pro 2024 is next to my Mac Air M3 I can bump the side of the mac screen with my pointer and it will go onto the iPad screen without changing screen share etc.

Apple Mouse looks great but, 1.) too heavy 2.) Side swipes end the fingers on the sides, where it should not be bent 3.) the straight edges dig into skin. It's great for casual users, but if you are at your computer 10 hours a day, it really adds up. I use a razor viper v2 pro, it is missing a lot of features but it is so light it doesn't hurt my wrist or fingers. I really wish they consider finger and wrist joint health when designing this stuff.

I just got a Logit mouse, which is definitely better, but scrolling up and down, I believe the Magic Mouse is better. I dont know if anyone have both of them let me know if you see any diferent.

Which one would you suggest buying. Mx master/anywhere 3s or Magic Mouse to use with m1 MacBook Pro? I don’t have an external display at home by the way.

I couldn’t imagine going to a coffee shop with my laptop and working with that huge mouse lol I think the Magic Mouse was made to be easily portable and look good in environments that aren’t necessarily an office.

Hello Adam: This is my FIRST encounter with YOUR channel. I found your video production and its content were useful. It was a GREAT idea to present BOTH the Positives & Negatives of Mac OS Mouse in comparison to Logitec Mouse that YOU have used.

Just got the new Imac. The magic mouse doesnt have the right click function like the one on my 2015 imac. Apparently you have to hit control and tap to cut, paste, spell, search etc. I called Apple, and thats what they told me. Any fixes for that?
