First heard this in a hotel lobby. My family was packing up all the luggage to take out to the car. I refused to leave the hotel until the song was over. A real treasure.

I remember it was like 2:00 am back in 2008, I was doing all these huge assignments in high school and all of a sudden this song randomly started playing in a YouTube tab on my browser, and I was like, "this is best song I've listened in my life"

Fun fact: this song was written about Björk. Guy Sigsworth always toured with her during her 'Debut' tour, and whenever they rehearsed 'Venus As A Boy' together, he always waited for her to inhale. When she finally did, he always knew to play the first chords of the song (thus 'riding a wave on her inhaling'). Guy has spoken about this in a documentary called "Map The Music" a while back ago.

I remember listening to it for the first time in high school, and thinking to myself how cool and different it was from anything I had heard at the time. Still gives me that chill now. I absolutely love this song!

This song is one of the most oddly catching haunting melodies I've ever heard. There's nothing like it that I've ever heard (other than other Frou Frou, which is also excellent). I would LOVE to see what Imogen and Guy could invent on a 2nd album. This is quite possibly the most underrated song, album and artist of all time.

Havent heard for so so long. Last time it was playing on my mp3 was 2008 when i was 16. Me, my mum and a fren were travel to east coast of malaysia. This song makes my day happy n relax. Thanks for making me happy frou frou. I was wondering what she did now as a living.
