The single best feature of the XT4 is that it lowered the price of the XT3.

The X-T4 is my first Fuji camera. Honestly I can't imagine using anything else. I had a Sony A7iii which was great but it just collected dust after awhile. My X-T4 I try to take out as much as possible. Lunch break walks, wildlife shooting adventures, parks, botanical gardens, new cities. Pretty much if I'm allowed to bring it, that is in my bag. Outside of my ISO dial sticking recently its been the perfect companion and I wouldn't trade it for anything.

I still love my XT-2. I don't do video and I haven't found a compelling reason to upgrade. More money for a new lens or two...

Interestingly enough, I chose the X-T4 over the Z6 because I enjoyed the experience of shooting with the Fuji over the Nikon. But we all have our own personal preferences, and just about any camera made over the last 10 years (at least) is capable of making great images. Thanks for another great vid, Omar 👍

I am planing to get a X-T3 to join my X-T20 an X70. I don't like the fully articulating screen on the X-T4, the fact that it's bigger than the T3 and the switch of the Still and Movie function. I prefer the Metering Mode there. So I will get myself an X-T3 soon. 😋

I actually really like the XT4's screen. It almost seems more stylish and I love that it's protected when "flipped in". I also shoot a lot of dusty, windy locations, so the flip screen really keeps the screen protected from the elements. I know it's a bit retro, but I'm almost always using the EVF except for when shooting really low or when shooting video, so I'm glad the screen isn't easily accessible. Plus, it's super nice when shooting real estate and you need to back the camera into a corner.

I've had the X-T4 for about a year now. Love the 'anti-chimping' flip-around screen, the IBIS, the very subtle shutter sound, the big battery, and the bigger grip. When I don't want any of that, I take out the Ricoh GR III (oops... it does have IBIS 😛)

Picked up an X-T3 today from KEH! Super excited! Omar, your videos have been a big factor in helping me make my decision, thanks!

I see the flip out screen as a net positive. I do prefer the X-T2 for shooting high or low, but you get used to flipping it out to the side. Add in the selfie perspective and the fold in screen protection and i think it’s a plus overall.

I have an XT2 which has a really nice form factor. My only real complaint with the Fuji system is developing their RAW files in Lightroom (sharpening-worms etc). I contemplated upgrading to the XT4, but the screen and pulsing autofocus were negatives. I ended up getting a full frame Nikon Z5 for a thousand dollars new last summer, which has dual card slots and great IBIS along with a normal tilting screen. I do find that the Nikon files are beautiful. Every camera is a trade off, but now I have a Nikon and a Fuji which both deliver beautiful photos.

I bought my X-T3 because the X-T4 came out, lowering the price of the older model. I just bought a second X-T3 because it does everything that I need in a camera (never shoot video) and I fear what may be available when (or if) the first X-T3 dies.... so I already bought its replacement.

At my age, this might be my last camera.

Well, I'm only into photography and I switched to Fuji from the Canon 5D4 about a month ago. I love the X-T4!!! It is a small and very powerful camera and together with the 50-140mm lens, it's just breathtaking. I will still keep my Canon 1DX3 for low-light or studio photography, but the X-T4 definitely changed my mind on mirrorless cameras. I have this camera everywhere I go.

As a still relative newbie, 2 years -intermediate hobbyist, I have to confess this is the one time I had to go the other way and disregard your opinion. I recently upgraded to the XT-4 and love it. And I don’t hate the screen. Took about an hour to get used to it. The ONLY time I miss the old one is when I have camera directly below me and want to shoot low. That’s it. Otherwise the IBIS and other tweaks really shine.

I only do photography, and I see the 'flippy screen' as a plus. My current D500 doesn't have one and there are certainly situations, like shooting in vertical very close to the ground that I now just can't flip the screen such that it faces upward. Also, I like that you can flip it with the screen inside so it is protected against scratches and stuff. But with or without flippy screen is not the deal breaker, it is all about the lenses and how they fit your needs as a photographer.

I went from the XT2 to the XT4, much better stills camera for me, I do prefer the no flip screen but at least it can turn to protect the screen.

I agree with your battery comment. I’ll keep my X-T3. I got the X-E4 as a travel camera to compliment the X-T3 and share batteries. I prefer the X-E4’s flip up screen to the X-T4’s flip out screen.

Switched from X-T20 to X-T3 and love it. Had the X-T4 for a while and had the same issues with it as you.

...I still my my little X-T20 tho... so comfortably nice and small. If the X-T30 just had the d-pad....
