Dormammu sounds calm and confident in mvc3. In infinite he sounds angry and pleased. Mvc3 gives him a better contrast, for a powerful enemies as him.

Dormmamu's VA in Infinite has too much anger in his voice. I mean like the other comment said, Dommamu in Umvc3 was calm and confident.

I feel that Dormammu had some improvements in Infinite through just visual effects of the spells, else it's still UMvC3 version for me.

Before I knew much about the character, I thought his level 3 just shrinks the opponent and crushes the ball they’re in.

Now that I know him more, he just brought them to his dimension where he’s huge and crushes them in a tiny ball.

His voice sounds better in MvC3 than MvCi in MvC3 he sounds more threatening whereas in MvCi it sounds like he overdoing it

MVC3 in 1080 60 is better. It looks so colorful and polished.

I think Dormammu's visuals look better in Infinite but his voice acting is horrendous. Everybody in that game got the directive to be metal-band-playing smart-asses.

Hot take, but I actually really like Phil LaMarr as Dormammu in Infinite. Is it better than his voice from 3? Not entirely, but I feel like LaMarr was hamming it up in the booth, and I can appreciate that.

Visually, Dormammu looks great in Infinite thanks to the VFX possible through Unreal Engine. A lot of his moves are cool to look at, though I’ll admit his Dark Dimension super is a bit of a pace breaker because of how long the cinematic is.

Dormammu in MVC3 just sounds like he’s playing with his opponents, almost like he couldn’t care less about what’s happening as long as he’s a little entertained.

In mvci Phil Lamarr makes Dormammu sound more like a badass version of Hector Con Carne from evil con carne and grim adventures of billy & mandy lmao
