I have the Performer 5... very satisfied!

that Vulkan bass is phenomenal. lakcing a little in pinna gain, but that is very easy to eq. P5 sounds like a band with a guy with a cymbal standing in front.

if I owned the Vulkan I'd start by EQ +2db at both 2k and 4k, and that would give a smooth curve, and see if that brings brings vocals more to the fore.
