Had to cook up a full version. This song highkey rocks idk what to say

Been sitting on this cover for a bit! I extended it a while ago but I was waiting to get a vocalist to fill the other voice.

Decided to extend the song and feature two original characters in it to change the context a tad. Featuring characters Angie & Dean

Angie being a little evil girl forced into the Girl Scouts in hopes it’d make her kinder, and a slightly older Boy Scout named Dean how’s considered model scout.

Paired together on a project cross promoting both the Girl and Boy Scouts, both are feel unlucky to have such difficult partners… and Angie is finally tired of pretending she wants to be “nice”

I will say, I would 100% watch a series with these two. You’ve got the perfect duo, the pure-hearted boyscout and the absolutely demented girlscout who he’s forced to be paired up with. I can imagine the series being a blend of Making Fiends and Ed Edd n Eddy, with Angie (being the little schemer she is) concocting little schemes and scams to pull on unsuspecting townsfolk, while Dean is unfortunately dragged along on the ride (while trying to convince her not to go through with her plans)…. (With not so good results)

There's something about this that just tickles me in the right way. Perhaps it's the extended lyrics, the vocals or that gorgeous electro-swing instrumental. Everything just screams classic 2015-2017 music, that time when DGA was producing build our machine and gospel of dismay or when Stephen Universe had spinel in her banger song of other friends. It's all so good! But while those were either aggressive or have some rather evil undertones, this is just a straight up electro-swing song with some deliciously petty and evil lyrics.
