the new bug fix aims to fix a glitch that arrived with update 1.49 which caused cars to fly into the air under extreme settings.

It is frustrating with how hard they make it to make money, it just becomes boring to the point where people end up quitting since not everyone is able to spend hours upon hours grinding this game.

The big 4 for me is the most fun. Been playing the Le Mans heavy rain and Spa with double heavy rain and a night time race. These two maps really helped me a lot to learn about the mechanics of how to drive fast in the rain.

The aero glitch was probably the golden era for me and the most fun I had on GT7. There were just so many cars to pick from, keeping the grind fresh with new cars everyday until they patched it.

I still do the Spa grind. I use the Mazda LM 33 (Gr. 1) on racing hards and turned down to 799.99 pp. It is so easy, I use an automatic and turn up the radio so I can chill and jam. I hate the music in the game and I have a really good radio station in town. Classic Rock. The other one is LeMans 30 minutes 700 pp, in the Ford GT 40 Test car, it has a bigger fuel tank. That one I use my "H" pattern shifter and clutch. I can jam to it too, but it is better to use the headphones and listen to the car. It is a glorious noise. I do sometimes turn up the speakers and the radio and jam it... It does take more concentration. There is a simple glitch that works on every car, except electric, use the Manual Transmission. You DO NOT need to drive it with a stick and clutch. It gives you an adjustable transmission for less credits and it lowers your PP by using it compared to the sequential. It shifts sequentially and manually. That means you can add PP and stay below your target PP.

I love Gran Turismo 7. The gameplay is fun, and the visuals are stunning. Personally, making money in the game isn't a crazy issue for me, but I can see what some players are talking about when it comes to that. The roullete tickets are really annoying tbh. The game either gives you pocket change or parts for a car you don't have or don't care about, and parts aren’t even expensive.

It's still my favorite racing game, and I'm glad it exists with the same people who care about cars and making a good racing game, but it still has a lot of room to improve on an already great production.

Polyphony have given me the middle finger since update 1.49. I haven’t received anything but 3 star driving marathon tickets every day since. I have managed to glitch the Bugatti Chiron to get into Tokyo 600pp with big power so that’s something I guess!! It’s still nothing like any of these other glitches. I wish I was playing in the Tomahawk era!!

The Daytona glitch days actually gave me a better appreciation for NASCAR. After they patched it, I performed it as AFK though. I will say that overall, after glitching enough money to buy and tune basically whatever car I wanted, I have developed a greater love and appreciation for so many cars I would have never gravitated towards if I still had limited funds. Being able to actually buy and drive any car in this game has made me a better car enthusiast, which I assume was part of Kazunori Yamauchi's intent with developing this game series.

Def need way more races like Spa 1hr and LeMan 30min. Human Comedy missions were great, but only useful as one-time thing which sucks. More, much more longer races of variable weather to keep things interesting

⁠ I did the math, let’s say you did the 825, 000 (assuming clean race) reward races in around 30 minutes. From my knowledge the last post I checked (when they had only 454 cars) the total cost of all vehicles was 487 million. Now that we have well over 500 cars we can easily assume the total worth being well over 500 million. So I’m being really generous here, if you were to literally only ever play those races when you get on you would need over 606 races to buy all the cars. Meaning you would need to play for an hour, 2 races every single day at least, with no days off, for close to a year (303+ days) just buy all the cars let alone all the upgrades. So after a year of grinding the game hard every single day you would just be able to start playing without having to worry about buying cars, only parts, which you would then have to grind further for. I’m starting to see there’s a need for acceleration in the gt7 economy.

The Tomahawk at Toyoko was so much fun. Coming out of the tunnel at 250mph with the front wheels in the air, in the wet, while trying to dodge cars. That was great! Shame on Polyphony. I need to try to recreate that race in a custom race. I would have to go back and find the actual glitch build too. And I don't care that it wouldn't make money....that's how much fun it was. If anyone has done that please post it.

I still think the small window of time after they first released extra menus when you could infinitely claim the associated rewards was probably the most broken money glitch as far as amount gained for effort put in. Literally getting an engine swap, 4* roulette ticket, and Gr.B NSX for spamming a button through cutscenes over and over.

I have 458 cars. it is now very hard 4 me to attempt to play this game. I have nothing 2 look towards playing this every day. I am down to only wanting to play it on Fridays. that's it IT NEEDS SUCH A HUGE UPDATE 4 ME to try to continue to play this. we NEED GT 8 2 come out tomorrow.

so right now ... 3 races to grind (i'm not counting tokyo anymore) and a weird AFK that's probably gonna get patched soon. That's it :( Why they don't make more 1h races with the same payout is beyond me. We're gonna grind anyway, at least make it a bit more pleasant.

For all its short comings, its still a solid game. Never had an issue with the credits, the parts roulette is the real joke.

Reminds me of how there’s that one channel that makes hours and hours of long videos talking about the problems with GT7 yet basically pinned all its awful money economy and FOMO elements on Kaz just being eccentric, smh it’s a game where when you earn some pitiful award from the roulette it will ask if you want to “top it up” with MTX that’s no eccentric that’s predatory

Abarth/AFK/oval/custom race glitch was 👌

went from owning 1/5 of the cars, to owning all of them, plus 99, 000, 000Cr in about 3 days. Rip anyone who still grinds regular races
