Its the year 2030 and we've finally found the skip from the start of the first bombing mission to the start of disk 3. Of course this means we get to keep Biggs, Wedge, Jessie, the OG cait sith and Aerith, as well as having Sephiroth in the party and unlocking Luigi in your copy of Mario 64.

I freaking love the FFVII speedrun community. There's been so much discovered in the last few years, it's been a really exciting time to follow the scene. Really look forward to seeing runs incorporate this, it really will be such a massive shake up (which will surely just spur on even more innovation - who knows what might come next!)

I have attempted this glitch on Switch and it also works! Weird side effect of this Glitch is Cait Sith is level 1 and is named Cloud after obtaining the airship. He even has the Buster Sword equipped! His sprite also disappears in battle if you use him but you see his HP and MP deplete to 0. Wild times!
