Three Israeli hostages have been handed to the Red Cross in Gaza, before their transfer to Israel, the Israeli military confirms.

Before the handover, Hamas named them as 31-year-old Doron Steinbrecher, dual British-Israeli Emily Damari, 28, and 24-year-old Romi Gonen.

Hamas says for every hostage released, 30 Palestinian prisoners will be released from Israeli jails.

The long-awaited ceasefire in Gaza came into force after a last minute delay, with displace Palestinians beginning to return to the cities they fled.

Whoever tells you that life is valued the same world wide, you are being fooled. The war in Gaza has shown us all what value life has.

So a British-Israeli is among the hostages and the British BBC has been busy supporting Hamas. That is unbelievable 😂😂

Why Palestinians are considered prisoners if they are detained without trial in Israeli prisons.

Start reporting EQUALLY, BBC. Why mention hostages for one side and convicts for the other??? I'm weary of your incapacity to play fairly. For example, the Israelis are detaining doctors as hostages who have done nothing wrong.

One of the worst telecast channels. BBC should not be taking any credit of fair journalism

– The English author, journalist and essayist George Orwell (25 June 1903 – 21 January 1950), author of Nineteen Eighty-Four and Animal Farm, died seventy four years ago almost today, at the age of forty-six - Yet he understood the politics surrounding this conflict better than most.
“The party told you to reject the evidence of your eyes and ears. It was their final, most essential command.”---George Orwell

BBC take note!

How telling that BBC does not report on the state of Israeli prisoners(NOT HOSTAGES) as opposed to the condition of Palestinian prisoners. Clearly, BBC is not beholden to the people for their funding.
