As a Kings fan, major respect to the Blackhawks. I always enjoy watching these two teams play. Awesome puck movement by the Kings and nice grit and determination from the Hawks. Great pass by Kopitar on the first goal and Donato was clearly channeling his inner "Kane" on that sick shootout goal.

As a Hawks fan, massive respect for Kopitar. The guy goes back to those 7 game wars in the early 2010's
Gotta love Bertuzzi, he fits in well as a Chicago Blackhawk. Reminds me a little of Andrew Shaw around the net.

I can’t believe they won this one. Shots were 40-20 in favor of LA.. I miss ONE game and something epic FINALLY happens 😂 Vlasic looks elite and Mrazek is incredibly good. I wish they would trade/release Murphy and pull up one of their defensive prospects. Reichel also seems to be figuring things out. That rush and pass to smith was smooth. Nice to see the hawks getting goals from their depth guys. They need to go on a streak to give the young guys some confidence.

For all my displeasure at some of the coaching decisions Luke Richardson has made, he managed to make a few good moves today.

Scratching Brodie was one (should have been done sooner), giving Donato the shootout look was another.

Positives: Mrazek is a top goaltender. Reichel seems to be enjoying hockey as of now and is flying nicely out there. Smith and Bertuzzi seems to be nice fits so far and Donato is on fire. This won’t be as tough as last year.

The Foligno hit was NOTHiNG. This fighting over mild contact has gotten out of hand. The league should step in and do something.

The team in front of him is weak and sleepy. Too many overpaid players in the roster.
