⨸ Aʙᴏᴜᴛ Tʜɪs Vɪᴅᴇᴏ ⨸ - In this video we find the critical region for testing a sample mean using Normal distribution. We test the mean against the critical region to se if there is sufficient evidence to reject the null hypothesis. In the second part, we compare this method to testing the probability against the significance level.

Thanks. Very clearly explained.
There's also a 3rd way for solving that last question, one which doesn't involve calculating the new value of σ.

Statistics / Test / Z / 1-Sample: Data = Variable; μ = <μ; μ0 = 20; σ = 5.5; x̅ =18.1; n = 20

Aren't Casio obliging!

I am going to be starting my A levels from next year onwards that is if this Corona virus pandemic calms down as well as easing of lockdown measures. But I was just wondering as you mentioned in previous videos that the TI 30X pro is also allowed for A level and A level further maths exams from 2017 onwards is also the TI 36X pro calculator also okay to use as it seems similar to that of the TI 30X pro multiview calculator? It would be very useful if you can give some advice on this matter as my brother has this calculator lying around the house and my parents are seemingly not willing to spend more money on new calculators anytime soon.
Thanks,
Tom.

Hi, Sir! Don’t we need to put for 2 tailed test in “area” given in question percentage of significance level and then divide it by 2?
