They need to hire you as a canon consultant.

In the episode "Unity" (Voyager Season 3.15) Chakotay was also influenced by telepathy without any implants, after the Ex-Borgs linked with him to heal him.

I wonder if Admiral Crusher can also modify the transporters to filter out all of the Alex Kurtzman from 2017 onwards.

The Borg assimilated thousands of species. They probably understood organic telepathy well. Though they still didn’t rely on it. Probably because it wasn’t useful over long distances.

Cant believe after all this time, Admiral Forrest was still assimilated by the borg. Archer, clearly let something sneak by, when Starfleet first encountered the borg from the south pole. they even left something to build the conduit in Jupiter as a gas giant.

Im actually impressed why not more people are skeptical of transporters with all the accidents happen, especially after this where transporters where actually used to rewrite genetic code.

Well, yes. Because, in universe, it existed when Picard was abducted and turned into Locutus back in BOTB, it accounts for why he could hear them in First Contact - more than 20 years before Picard - and it makes sense, Borg are integrated at a cellular level, some of those changes had to be irreversible.

Hey that's Admiral Forrest from ENT. He gets around.

It's not a bad idea, but can we get to intellectual Star Trek where a bunch of people are talking in a room and the stakes aren't always about saving the universe?

Huh ...so those Kids were Augments. Right?
Very illegal, guess that early in TNG the writers didn't think of that yet.

So we just watched a robot plug itself into a cyborg collective. Ironic to think that whatever state she was in, the Borg Queen had more flesh on her there than Robo-Picard.

If my memory engrams are functioning correctly, it was Seven, while still borgulated, who modified those three ex-Borg people to have that permenant link when they were temporarily disconnected from the hive to maintain some sense of order as they chowed down on local animal meats, but for whatever reason, her work was never undone by the collective, I guess they just forgot about it... :P

"A transvestite!?"
"No, a transmitter. Please do not interrupt."

Is the Human Borg the same actor that played Admiral Forrest in Enterprise?

Thank you so much for the much needed info. This is a welcome insight to those new to the Trek lore.

Wait, you are telling me Matalas actually paid attention to all the Borg episodes?

Its almost like the writers of Picard Season 3 actually went back and watched Star Trek.
