Cooler Master H500 Review: $50 Cheaper, More Mesh

Cooler Master has released yet another product named "H500," but this one is more interesting than the previous H500P, H500P Mesh, and H500M.

The Cooler Master H500 case is the next in line for the CM 500 series, but this one has no suffix. The H500 follows the H500M and H500P Mesh, but lands at $100 rather than $150-$200. The H500 sticks with a mesh front by default, though does offer an acrylic swappable panel for users who prefer that look (and also no airflow). Stock, performance is where you'd expect an H500P Mesh -- just cheaper than previously. Our review goes over benchmark numbers and temperatures for the new Cooler Master H500.

This review got me to buy this in 2020 for my first all new build since 2010. I was still rocking an Antec 900 and 1055t and moved to a 3700x and rx580. Since upgraded the last year or so to a 5800X3D and 3080. Still a great case, and I love the airflow and sort of HAF X style I liked as a kid.

I bought this case in early 2020, just before the price hikes caused by the human malware. I live in Mexico, and finding good airflow cases for reasonable prices is usually really hard. bought this for about 90 Dollars (2000 MXN pesos) at the time from Amazon Mexico, and is one of the best purchases I've ever made. I had already seen Steve's review of this and was convinced that it was probably one of the best high airflow cases price to performance. I would like to thank Gamers Nexus for all the effort they put in their hardware reviews as it led me to make an excellent purchase that I'm very happy with. Great review... I've got this case coming in a week or so for a new build and this is EXACTLY what I want to hear. I like the fact you got on with the demo with little to no buff in between... really informative and makes me feel pleased that I've chosen this case. Looks quite the beast.

Ive got this case and it is really good, great airflow and quiet easy to build in, also it looks very premium with the glass and there are 3 fans included 2x 200mm ones and 1x 120 mm in the rear. They are all very quiet and have great airflow.
