I like how in this version, at the end, you can see the panic that lies behind this question. Like, in the original, you see the "take-back-your-life" side of waking up and realising that you can't stay the same person after you rid yourself of that toxicity; but in this version, you get to see the softer elements and moments of doubt, the quiet panic you don't want anyone to see or else they might doubt that you're actually getting better or that you were genuine when you said you wanted to. This version shows the fact that this fucking question actually haunts you for a while until you start to find yourself. I like that that they're showing both sides and that they're showing this with just as much passion as they did the original instead of just some watered-down quieter version of the original.

This is beautiful. Your voices are amazing and hearing Shawn sing was a real treat. The song being acoustic gave it a quality that lets the words really sink in and hits you real hard. This is amazing and I think I might love it more than the original, though the original also has amazing qualities.
