I got RoadSmart III, then Dunlop Mutant, then Dunlop RoadSmart IV GT for my VFR800X Crossrunner. I love them too. Dunlop is so underrated, and way cheaper than Michelin, I don't know people only want Michelin.

Excellent review. i can second all your findings. Difference is I ride a 135kg Zero FXE which already is nimble AF by all standards. Now with the Roadsmart 4 it's insanely, incomprehensibly nimble, like a BMX bike in the City or when filtering, but at the same time it RAILS fast turns with so much stability and precision ... it's almost as if I just have to think a line and the bike takes it all by itself. I don't know how Dunlop has done this but it's bloody brilliant.
The second thing is confidence, especially in cold and/or wet conditions. I NEVER had any tire so confidence inspiring in any condition. Super thrilled to see how they perform when it really gets warm.

I put a set of these tires on my R1200RS and love them. Previously I has Metzlers, Michelin, and Continentals, but these are the best I have ridden on. They do make the bike feel more nimble and inspire confidence in the curves. I have a little over 10, 000 miles and will be replacing them with the same tire.

I use Michelin Road 6 on my BMW K1600 and I love them.

Oh my goodness, thank you. I have Michelins, they have lost traction on wet roads, the bike has wandered and felt like there was a problem. I thought it was the steering head at fault. And wow, the amount of punctures they have picked up. I was going back to Metzelers but I think I might have to consider the Dunlops now?
Stay safe

Thx for this review. Specifically these conditions are where I need a review on a tire. The wet and cold need to have tires that bring confidence.😊

I have just changed these on to my zx12r after having Pirelli rossa 4 on and rode 5000km down to Phillip Island for the WSBK and they were so good. I was still able to get my knee down with luggage and all. Dunlop have done a great job with these RS4 . i am about to swap my Rosso corsa off my zx10r and try there new TT tyres hopefully they will be as good as the RS4 upgrade. mint job Dunlop

Sorry I am late to the party, just came across this review. Interesting take on the A41s. My 2017 V-Strom 650 came with A40s and at 6000 miles I have had no issues with uneven wear or grip. My plan is to replace them before my long tour this summer. I had considered putting a set of A41s on but since all my adventures involve tarmac, I am also looking at various road tires such as the Roadsmart IV and the Michelin Road 6. So, thanks for your honest thoughts concerning these tires and the Road 6s. Looking at the comments to this video many other riders were in agreement.

Just had this video pointed out to me on my channel. 3000 miles on the road 6's and although very good, they drift to the left when hands off the handlebars, its not a pull per say but so frustrating.Hands on the bars they are amazing. Also slow speed, ie yellow line, feet up, a bit of see sawing with the bars. I won't get them

Not sure if you’ve seen GSD321 but I’ve just stumbled across his site and he also has the “left turn” problem you had with the road pilot 6s. Have to say I had them on my k1300s and found them to be excellent, maybe they just don’t suit the gsa. Great channel btw and fellow blood bikers too what’s not to like! Now I just need to be ready next time you trade in at ocean👍

Michelin Road 6GT's.. best tyres I've ever had on my FJR1300's.

I had Roadsmart 3's on an ST1300 (Pan American) and loved them. Apparently, the Roadsmart 4's are not available in the 19" front here in the U.S. If they become available here, I will most likely put them on my '22 GSA.

Quite a few of my riding mates stand by Michelin Pilots 5 or 6's, , I have had 2 sets of the Dunlop RS 3, , and a set of the Road Pilot 5 and 6, I personally like the Road Smart
better than the Pilots.
I just bought a new K1600GTL and am heavily leaning to purchasing the Dunlop Road Smart 4's. The bike came from the factory with the Metzler Roadtec 01. I'm going to at least put 3k miles on them just to get a better idea of stability and mileage.
I will always think that tires are a very subjective topic and each rider has his own level of confidence when it comes to how far he will push the tire.

I appreciate this honest and concise review. It helps me in my tire choice decision.
Dunlops will be fitted!

I've had 3 sets of the Dunlop Meridians on a yamaha super tenere, and loved them in all weather and road conditions. I'm going to try the Roadsmart 4s next.

The tires are good. I may get a set for my other bike.

I have PR4’s on my BMW R NineT and also feel them pulling the bike left. Will be trying these Dunlops next I reckon

Funnily I currently have Roadsmart 4 on my RT and am switching to PR6 as next set to try as have found the Roadsmart4 to be really noisy on the front end. I'll be interested to see if I notice a pull on the front end.

It would be interesting to see a tyre poll from you guys, I’m just at the point of buying a set and after your previous recommendation of Dunlop Mutants I thought they were the ones to go for?

I have the 1250GS and one big issue is tyre noise coming up through the front forks, the Michelin 6 are known for surfing this issue, can you comment on this when reviewing tyres. Ta
