This is NOT GOOD for Wuthering Waves

Wuthering Waves released date has just been leaked, kinda. While Genshin just released 4.5 to a mediocre release. So how does Wuthering Waves compete with Genshin. It seems they are trying to release before Genshin 5.0 so they don’t get beat by Genshin. We’re going to discuss the potential release of date of the game along side some potential problems I see with the game at the moment.

Well Genshin is still technically early access, since after 3 years we still have only half of the game. If Kuro can polish the game to have lag free, bug free start - then it's already a good start.

The thing is, the field is about to be deluged with tons of "Genshin killers". Project Mugen, Azur Promilia, Breakers, Arknights: Endfield, to name a few. If Wuthering Waves waits too long, the game could get buried regardless of how good it is.

Even if very little changes from the beta, I'm still pretty hyped for it.

Wuthering Waves team have the strong reputation of "listen" and "care" about the players, that can be a wonderful thing but it can also be a double edge sword, you can't please everyone and judging by how some WW fans are already beaving (specially on youtube) I just wish them good luck.

Nhaaa I don't think they are really rushing the game, they are taking their time, just look at how they reworked the whole story.
for this 2beta the feedback was much smoother the only biggest problem is just the grinding aspect of the echos which probably won't It will take a lot of time to make some changes. There are other feedbacks, but they don't really affect the game, they are somewhat subjective or they are problems that the developers are already aware of. but I also don't believe that the release date on the epic games website is accurate

About the bosses being easier, it's good that they are easy in the story and in the open world as it is related to your progression and farm, the game has specific modes to challenge boss fights where they become more aggressive and gain more movesets.
And yes, the story in 1beta had a big problem, it's not something talked about here, but in China there was this discussion about the writer of 1beta who had ideas and direction that weren't aligning with the rest of the team which resulted in a plot unengaging and a mess. This time, for 2beta, the writer is someone who is already familiar with kuro, and although it was just a reintroduction, it was much better than 1beta

People must not forget that the game didnt come out yesterday.

They dont just finish working on cbt2 then ship the build.


There is internal testing, and they have to make sure the build is playable first before cbt2 is shipped, which means the cbt 2 build are usually months behind

Also, spoiler alert, the cbt2 build you play on is pretty much the secret test build in cn, and that was MONTHS ago

It not releasing on XBOX is probably similar to the reason Baldur's Gate 3 took so long to come to XBOX. Microsoft won't release a game unless it runs on current **and** last gen consoles. If the game is that demanding, it wouldn't run well on less powerful hardware.

The main thing they need to focus on fixing before release is the echo system since that seems to be the main issue testers both CN and Global seem to have. I was feeling excited for this game at first but there are some concerns I have that can be a deal breaker such as

1. If the current echo system remains as it does because there is way too much rng which is not going to make it fun which would suck because it's a cool concept

2. I don't enjoy the storyline. There was some elements in CBT 1 that I wish they kept like Crownless introduction

3. Character designs. I don't mind the characters in this game being more simple in design but I think there are to many characters already with either black, red, and especially white hair which I'm not a fan of

There are people saying that the developers are no longer working on the version that was on CBT 2, but on a new version of the game, which makes sense since all games are released in version 1.0.0, but on CBT it was 0.9 .2

I feel like it's gonna be like Tower of Fantasy or Punishing Gray Raven. Shitty or mid on release, but over time it's gonna improve a lot. Like the new pgr and tof charactres have way better story, design, movesets, etc then what it was at launch. It'll probably get a lot of hate at release too bc people are putting too high of expectations on it.

I still play and enjoy ToF to this day, never really compared it to Genshin (which I also play) to a point I got into toxicity, toxicity just ruins the expecience no mather what side you take and the same could happen with WW again, just enjoy your games and let others play theirs

I was interested in seeing competition for Genshin, but the more of WW I see, the more I think it's just a stylized version of the gacha-game system with some attractive QOL's thrown in. But I suspect the general gameplay will be just as grindy as Genshin.

a gtx 1060 is not demanding at all for a modern game, mobile or not lmao. The specs are basically what *literally any* entry level gaming PC (that isn't 10 years old) should be able to achieve. Meme spelling aside, those spec requirements look very standard for a game releasing in 2024.

Tbh i think the drama is going to far lately, you guys need to stop freaking out about a game that good or not. Plus the Wuthering waves closing beta 2 just ended. Also Because of this whole drama it making me want to leave the genshin community and Hsr Community because there only negative comments anymore.

Kuro has been always putting uncooked games on release and they make it better after the release

It’s not good nor bad, but knowing the background of the dev is very important imo

A gtx 1060 isn't even all that the game will run fine on mobile u are talking as if the game needs a RTX 4080 or something

genshin is not on xbox and switch because they have a contract with sony. There is a kinda old article talking about how microsoft regrets not funding genshin when hoyo went to them. Might also explain why they are so stingy only in genshin and not in their other games lol.

People who care about Wuwa is only people that want genshin to have competition. They don't really care about Wuwa in the first place, they only care that genshin become more generous or better lol.
