Let's try out the brand new Anastasia Beverly Hills Rose Metals palette to see what it's all about. Per usual I'm doing swatches and two different eye looks, the big question is, is this better than the Nouveau palette? I have my doubts...

ABH is killing it with these palettes lately, I like both but the color story of this one I’d know I’d use more. But I do think there’s not a great base shade for lighter skin tones. Not that I’m complaining, because literally 95% of palettes do cater to light skin tones. Plus I have plenty of palettes. I have the Sultry that I actually bought last year at TJMAXX and I think this would be a good sister palette to that one!

I purchased the palette. I feel like ABH made a palette for the brown girls and the girls who love sparkle! I haven't been this excited since they collabed with Jackie Aina.

Serious question (and no shade, I’m just honestly curious) but is there really THIS big a market for these orange/burgundy shades? I personally hate this colour scheme but every single release in the last few months seems to be pretty much the exact same (except Nouveau.) I know brands follow trends, but this super warm trend was big only a few years ago (and I hated it then too 😂)

The orange shade reminds me of their older palettes that all seemed to have an orange matte in them!

While I prefer the Nouveau palette, I also like the Rose Metals color story. I'm a sucker for elevated neutrals like these and the shimmers are just that tiny bit special where you feel like you've really done something once you put them on your eyes.

I have the sub culture palette and Yess it can be tricky to work with, but I love the color theme and I didn't have to much of an issue .. to with all that .. I like the EARTH PALETTE THE best ❤️🥰.
