I've a questio.
I got my first ever H1B approved in India and waiting for visa stamping in Mumbai. But due to covid consulates were closed but now consulates are opening and I can see the visa appointment date for Feb. Though I haven't tried booking appointment yet. However I have confusion on H1B visa ban which is till 31 march 2021. I'm confused. If the visas are banned then why consulates are giving appointments? Does it mean visa stamping is not ban but us traveling on H1B is ban? Please clear my doubt. If traveling is banned then I can still go for my visa stamping, isn't it?

Has anyone suggested virtual interviews for the Embassies? Perhaps they could put the interviewees in a separate room with a camera that could be sanitized down after each interview.

I have worked in US on H1B for approximately 5 and a half years between 2006 - 2012. This year I am planning to go to US again, so can I start my green card application process as soon as I start working there?

Hi Jacob! I'm filing for both my parents, I'm a US Citizen .
They got results on the Receipt a month later & days later got the Finger prints Appointment .
We got that out of the way, it's been 60 days almost since finger prints...
How longer could it take? For the Permit to Travel etc. & the Interview .... All the fees have been payed .
