I've had the realfleece hoody similar to this for about 12 years and never had a tearing issue. Very warm and cozy.

I reckon they're a good thrift. If you're lucky they're sold as a normal hoodie. I've got a few IceBreaker bargains so far including from the outlet store far less than 30-50 euro equivelent.

Looking for a midlayer, either a merino wool or a grid fleece. Need something for hiking mountains in extreme winters or cold days.
Im wondering, if this is good for active wear, or is it more for less active wear.
