Skied that yesterday. Snow conditions were tough but I agree, has a semi western feel with the loose birch trees. One of my favorites areas as well.

I think Lower Ovation has the longest steepest pitch at the K. I have been a season pass holder for decades and nothing is super steep but I think Ovation would be my pick. Nice run and you skied it well. I love the K.

Have you explored the area near the peak of killington (kinda near catwalk) it seems there could be some really nice and steep lines over there - if it is skiable at all.

That may have been called Mississippi Ave back in the early 80's. Love the music ! B-52's !! Also, there is a run called Julio that is badass. PLUS the Tougher RUN CALLED ANARCHY. Can be accessed off Launch Pad before Ovation !

Explore a bit further left, there is a nice natural bowl that can get you either to the next trail over, or to a steep tight line down.

Go down Anarchy. The bottom is pretty steep, also Julio beside it. And at Bear Growler and Devil's Den.

killington has a lot of secret trails that are stepper- one of my favorite unmarked trails gurantees fresh western like powder every time, reply to this msg and ill reveal the location
