Axl Rose talked about what an inspiration Queen was to them and what that band meant to them. I can only imagine how they felt to be performing with Queen for Freddie's tribute concert. And you can see it on Slash, I don't think I've ever seen him this enthusiastic on stage before

Slash is over the Moon... Axl sings like he'd received Queen's magic sparkle... The rest of the band are simply euphoric... The audience is beyond ecstatic... The sound travels across London, then across UK, then across the World... Freddie in Heaven watches and smiles to himself: "What a performance! The show indeed goes on!"

This was Axl Rose at the top of his game. The dude had to be in peak physical condition to be able to jump and run around like he did and still have the breath control needed to belt out this song.

You can tell they all pulled together to pay respect to the great FreddyMercury at this concert and they gave such a epic performance and showed that rare magic they had when on stage together. They had a major influence on my life and I’m just happy I grew up in this era and experienced it back then. GNR fan 4 life thanks for all the good memories.

I was 16 years old when Freddie died. Asked my mom to tape the show for me as I had to go to a high school army camp..she recorded almost 4 hours of music..the GnR was my fav bit..

I remember watching this live on swedish television as a 14 year old kid. Metallica and Guns n' roses were my idols along with Queen! This was a big thing i Sweden, with a host (Annika Jankell) following the whole event with commentaries and trivia. I recorded it on VHS and watched it over and over again with my buddies. The memories!
