I've now had the PX 8Pro for about a week, and I'll share some of my opinions 🙂.

-The optical fingerprint sensor just can't cope with my other devices. Google need to fix this.
HOWEVER, the face unlock is way, way better than f.ex the S23U & and also the Z Fold5's outer screen .

- Takes really superb pictures! Xcellent!!!

I do however think that they really need to upgrade/fix the video, film quality / functions . Amongst thers, the stabiliser is not good.

- The screen is still to warm, "yellow" for my taste. Samsung is still at the top there.

- Haptic feedback: love it!
I think it smashes my Samsung devices, as well as iPhone 14Pro!

- Battery is not as bad as I've heard other youtubers say that it is.

- I do wish that Google could start using Snapdragon instead of an Exynos based chip.
-Speakers: Just not good enough.

- I have not experienced any overheating with the phone at all.

- Other than that I really, really like using this phone (with Nova installed 👍), and I've got no plan whatsoever to return it🤘

I do still prefer OneUi, and I do miss the S-pen when I use this device😎

Hey Barry, you need to put out more videos!

I have had my 8 Pro for the past week now and I absolutely love the device, it feels like a true top of the line flagship hardware wise and the software is an uncluttered, functional bundle of joy.

One letdown for me is the ai/bard implementation. While there have been some noticeable improvements in voice typing (it's almost flawless now) I think these are mostly due to the better processor.

A lot of the ai stuff they demoed for photography editing is hit and miss and I don't really see bard implementation across the board as I had hoped, more little things here and there.

I think we'll have to wait for the next Android version for the pixel phones for Google to advance this to a point where it actually makes a difference.

I agree about the selfie, hardly use/used it.

Weather has been pretty poor, so not really been able to shoot enough photos or take videos.

Haven't even used night sight as the photos thus far in low light have come out great.
