I got very lucky and found one with chains in the unopened double boxes at an electronics store that has been in business since 1922. It has a Music Master wooden horn speaker. I use it to show people how much AM radio changed from the Grebe to a E.H. Scott Philharmonic. Using a wide band AM transmitter I built. The radio that amazes me in DX ability is my RCA Radiola 60. This hobby started with me when I was 12 and someone was throwing out a 1938 Robot Dial Zenith 9S363. I still remember the old timers on the porch of an old folks home on the corner all commenting on how "They don't make 'em like that any more. That was in 1968.

That’s amazing to find one still in the unopened box! This hobby is addictive, I have too many radios as it is but still buy them now and then. Can’t seem to bring myself to let any go, my children won’t know what to do with all the stuff I have accumulated when I’m gone. They are just so cool. Just finished a no chains Grebe with battery box. Will have to do a video and post it.
