Great stuff! Would this send notifications only to the browser or also to the OS. For instance, would they show up in Windows 10 Action Centre?

Nice concise video beau. I love your lessons.
However, as a user, I feel irritated by the number of notifications. Almost every web app asks for permission for notifications, for each web page, everytime I visit. The fact that the browser doesn't remember the denials to requests for notifications for a web app makes the api not so user friendly. Is there a way I could turn off the notification api via code or otherwise for my browser?

Don´t know why, but this code is not working on chrome.. On Mozilla everything is ok !

do you really need to to bind(notification) in SetTimeout function? it works without it too.

These are the new pop-up windows. Super annoying, especially since every site these days feels they're important enough to warrant desktop notifications. I would strongly discourage their use.
