How to Enable/Disable Chrome's Bookmarks Side Panel
Google added a “Side Panel” feature to Chrome Browser that gives you quick access to your bookmarks and the Reading List in late March 2022. If you don’t want to see the Side Panel button in the Chrome toolbar, we’ll show you how to disable it.

Unfortunately this no longer works. "side panel" doesnt exist in the flags anymore and I am still stuck with a stupid window rather than a simple dropdown that goes away when I click the desired bookmark. I absolutely despise the side panel

thnx finally i got rid of this all bookmark tab what an annoying tab i wil disable chrome updates aswel from now.

This is all very clear but the section you show ""Side Panel" is not included in the Experiments page. There are other flags that have "Side Panel" included but they are all doing something else.

I have an android phone. I select bookmarks. It used to take me to my bookmarks, now it I have to select between bookmarks & reading list. I don't know or care what the stupid reading list is! I want to get rid of it! I want only bookmarks under bookmarks! How do I do this?! The red flag chrome page was Not helpful & didn't work.
