The education system is outdated. Let’s change that.

The American education system is ripe for a revolution. Today, most classrooms are centered around a single curriculum for all students — regardless of their individual learning styles.

School has ruined life for me.
I wasn't the brighest kid around and i wasn't socially active, i was clumsy and spoiled, but school just added more fuel to the fire.

I have a friend whose a high school teacher, she says the public education system is really a disastrous mess. If the American military operated like the school system, the whole American military would collapse within a week. She teaches an algebra 1 class, 80% of the kids can’t even do 6th grade math. Now with the pandemic, it’s even worse. Maybe she should teach 1st grade math to these high school students. Interesting question is 1st how did these kids even end up in her class. 2nd how did these kids even make it to high school?

Exactly. School used to be fun before it became all about test scores. Charter schools are successful because they get to kick the kids out before standardized tests. Parents needs to be involved. School has become a place to get their kids out of the house. Teachers are leaving over the current model. Yet they don’t listen to the teachers and they don’t care that kids don’t learn. It’s sad.
