The Autopsy of Jane Doe is a phenomenal movie. That increasing sense of dread is a rarity in horror movies these days but TAOJD has it in spades. Genuinely one the most terrifying movies I've ever seen.

"A skeleton creature... who happens to be on fire." 😂That made my day.

Gah! Please watch Oculus again. Her body absorbs the blow from the anchor, leaving the mirror whole and ready for its next... family, shall we say.

Not underrated, but the Hereditary decapitation scene made my body shut down 😂

I would include Tenebrae. It has two great twists, one that comes out of nowhere halfway through the film.

Fall kinda reminds me of a horrible nightmare that I had a couple yrs ago except I was not up top a communications tower, I was up top on a chimney that was extremely narrow with barely any room to put my feet and there was nothing to hold on to so as not to fall off😳
That was an awful nightmare that felt ohhh soooo very real and it was just terrifying beyond words.
I remember in that sweat soaked nightmare, I was stuck up there on that narrow skinny little chimney with no phone or any type of way to communicate to anyone that I needed help straight away. I sure do remember in that nightmare like I was convinced that was it game over. I was super freaking relieved once I woke up to see that I was still Omfg y'all that was a horrible horrible awful terrible nightmare😞😓😣

It's awesome that you included the dark and the wicked that was the first thing that popped into my head when I read the category. Also, the empty man has a great twist. Those are two of my all-time favorite movies.

“The Invitation” should have been on this list.

It's annoying that you don't leave the title of the movie on the screen as it is being described. You have the channel logo and the production company of the movie, for some weird reason? Show the title the whole description instead of just at the introduction please.

Aren't all twists supposed to be unexpected?

47 Fathoms Down employed the Fall twist several years earlier, to equally tragic effect.

The mirror wasn’t destroyed at the end of "Oculus". The sister’s body protected it.

Wth, this whole time I thought Grant Gustin from CW The Flash played the brother in oculus. Didn’t even bother to check cause I was so sure, but you can’t tell me they don’t look exactly alike 😂😂

The book Valentine by Tom Savage that the movie is an adaptation of is an amazing book and if you haven’t read it, despite the spoiler in this video, you really should.

I want a sequel and prequel of Autopsy of Jane Doe SO BAD

I like how the video is about underrated movies with "unexpected" twists, and begins with Valentine, the most obvious twists in the entire world in a completely by the numbers slasher movie.

Fall isn't always classified as a horror film because it has never been a horror film. It's a 'drama' about two Darwin Award hopefuls. The only horrible thing is that one of the idiots lives.

Fall was overrated, and the twist was obvious way earlier

I've watched both of the "Good Night, Mommy" movies and they're both predictable and boring. I'm not sure why people are "I never saw the twist coming". You can tell what's going on WAY before you're told what's going on. Maybe I've just seen too many movies and read too many books to be "surprised" by these types of "twists" anymore. I also found the movies quite boring for their lengths. If they would've been shorter, I probably wouldn't have found them to be as boring as they were. I would've been more surprised if they would've made the "mother" to be revealed as a stranger, their father (for whatever reason), or an alien. THAT would've been surprising. The "actual twist" was not surprising. If you were watching the movies at all, then you saw it coming.
