Comedian Mercilessly Trolls NRA Leadership Straight To Their Faces

"National Rifle Association CEO Wayne LaPierre was trolled right to his face at the gun group’s convention in Houston as some of his biggest supporters looked on.

Not everyone caught what was happening in the stunt by the Good Liars, known as progressive pranksters Jason Selvig and Davram Stiefler.

Selvig got a speaking slot at the NRA members meeting on Saturday, where members can speak for and against various issues facing the lobbying group. At first, Selvig appeared to launch into a defense of LaPierre, whose leadership has been plagued by spending scandals.

It soon got very uncomfortable for LaPierre, as Selvig rattled off a lengthy list of mass shootings, then mockingly praised him for offering “thoughts and prayers” for each.

Not everyone caught the sarcasm. When Selvig finished speaking, many in the room applauded:"

Everyone else was dimmer than a 2 watt bulb.

It's so telling that they clap for someone they don't understand, simply because it's someone they believe is on their side. It is REALLY EASY to sway conservatives, and get them to go a long with you if they think your one of them. They are used to a constant stream of rhetoric that they never challenge with one single thought of their own. Just clap along. Sad.

People have got to stop assuming these people can be reasoned with! They're showing you time after time that logic and reasoning plays no part in their agendas! You are literally giving them WAY WAY WAY more respect and understanding then they deserve!

Furthermore, the blunt object category was not all by hammers, that was ALL blunt objects. Candlesticks, hammers, statues, Oscar and Emmy and Tony and Grammy awards, dinner tables and chairs, car batteries, etc., ad infinitum. All of that came to 393. There were three categories, handguns, rifles and firearms that all represented guns. Their total was about 9, 000 or so. That is compared to 393 deaths by ANY blunt object, not just hammers. Now, let us be generous and say that 40% of that 393 was hammers of various sorts. That would be about 160 deaths by any size or style of hammer per year, as compared to 9, 000 by guns. That is about 60 to 1 right there, and I dispute how low they showed gun deaths to be, by a whole lot, and I think 40% is way overselling how many of those blunt object deaths are by hammers. Just a few observations.

This literally just happened to me on Facebook. Some guy was doing the whole "cars should be regulated because they kill people" argument so I told him that would be relevant in any way if vehicles had no other use besides killing. He said he hunts with his guns and I said yeah no shit you kill animals with them they're good for killing but at least a car can get you to work without killing anyone if used properly. Then he just fell back on 2nd amendment rights because that's what they always do when they don't have a leg to stand on.

Who benefits from mass shootings in America? Let’s follow the money. First, the gun manufacturers benefit because gun sales always spike after highly publicized shootings, due to increased fear, hysteria and paranoia among the public. Then the gun manufacturers pay the gun lobbies and NRA, so they benefit next. Then the NRA pays the Republicans, who also benefit from this blood money. Then the Republicans pass laws that make it easier to purchase guns, which leads to more gun sales and increased profits for the gun industry. Republicans then also spread extreme ideologies like the great replacement theory and other wacko conspiracies, which leads to more radicalization among the gullible masses. Then they don’t fund mental health, which leads to more crazy behavior. All this combined leads to more mass shootings. And so the cycle continues. Republicans are for the killers and mass shooters.

I’m confused. The second amendment says “A well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed.” How in any way are people being well regulated with no gun regulations? The guns are for the people in the well regulated militia. If you’re not in the well regulated militias then you have no right to bear arms.
