Great uncomplicated fun garage rock, brought with lots of enthusiasm. They make me smile all the time. Love their debut album. That's what music always should be! Can't wait to go see them at the end of the month in Brussels.

The music is very joyful, it's playful and they are charismatic and look like they're having a lot of fun which makes it likable for me. I don't get all the people complaining about their guitar skills, it's not always about how complex the music is.

Thanks to KEXP for the clean recording, up close camera work, and the crisply captured effervescense that is Hinds.
This new band's music is so freshly unique sounding and especially inspiring, it makes me almost cry. I love their tempo changes. I love their vocal interplay, and I really love their lyrics → big word pictures from so few spoken, yet so much said.

Like spotting a patch of fluorescent glowing mushrooms while taking a midnight walk in the deep, dark, dense and dreary forest of mostly mediocre music.
Great music can still be simple sounding, since it mostly takes great spirit and artistic dedication, each of which Hinds has present in abundance.
I caught them live here in Chicago a couple months ago and, just like Ex Hex band, they also delivered a boatload of energetic stage presence, tightly played songs, and just plain fun for us all.
I can't wait 'till the new full album drops, and the next U.S. tour comes around.

I am really shocked about all these mean comments, just can't understand... Met the band yesterday and I'm just in love, found them absolutely fantastic, charismatic and talented. They turned out to be one of my favorite bands rn. Can't stop hearing the album and all of its songs.

Rock N Roll is about doing what you want not because you went on a singing show and someone told you that you were good, but because you believe in what you do. All Hinds did was make a record that they wanted to hear and see live. They're living the dream. In Rock N Roll, you don't need anyone's affirmation. Hinds knew that there were people in this world that would truly love their music regardless of what anyone told them. I stepped out and said 'Leave Me Alone' is one of my favorite albums of all time, and I don't want to hear "You must not know a lot about music!" Because music is subjective and I love the artists who are bold and fearless. I've already seen this band live once, and I'm looking forward to doing that again when they return to Los Angeles in the future. Stop saying "they suck on guitar, they're mediocre at what they do!" MEDIOCRE AT WHAT THEY DO?! Who the hell are you to judge them? It seems to me that they're having loads of fun and that means theyre doing it right

I love this band, the fun they make and transmit when they play. I have seen them live four times in London and love them to bits. As well as the joy and perfection in their performances they are really cool people..hanging out in the audience when the support band were playing. The tempo changes are definitely something other musicians could learn from...they are really "in tune" with each other.

great DIY punk rock, no need for perfection. just energy and fun. which they have in abundance . they are young, they will evolve. but i think they are good as is.

I'm sure any musician could play around these girls no problem, I feel like I could, but that doesn't mean they're untalented. People need to appreciate their style and what they're trying to do instead of talking about what they can or can't play on their instruments

I added "New for you" to my spotify playlist in june of 2018 and since then I find that hinds is a good band. I like that it's a girls only band, that its a bit messy and they don't seem to care too much about what others might think about their music (could be completely wrong here, just a feeling). A lot of their songs are catchy, I like it. Keep it up, senoritas!

These girls are fantastic! It's such a breath of fresh air compared to the packaged and overly perfect indie stuff that people record because it's easy to do. I think they made something that breaks away from the mundanity of an otherwise overdone genre.
Also I love that they were like yeah we were drinking right before we came on air. Because doing your own thing is what rock n' roll is about.
Also not sure where people are getting the "they don't know how to play" bs from, they know exactly what they're doing.

I really don't get all these negative comments. Bands like Shame and IDLES (who are both awesome) are worshipped for this style; messy guitars, imperfect vocals. Yet bands like Hinds are getting slaughtered for this style...

Makes perfect sense...Fed up of this blatant sexism.

Don't get me wrong, you have every right to not be into their music. However some of these comments are ridiculous. Garage/Lo-Fi is supposed to be messy, imperfect. The vocalists have character to their voices.

I read in a article that hinds doesn't like to be called 'fun girls'. they want their craft to be taken seriously. (: I found out about this band over a month ago & I've fell in love with their music immediately. their personalities, melodies, & energy is so captivating & indie. they're in their own lane, & so fucking talented.

Latest album - ' I don't run' has great reviews too.
