Actually Arthur’s first sign of TB was in chapter 2 during the mission you rob that weird family in the mountains with Javier. You can also here him coughing sometimes while playing poker in chapter 3.

Actually i believe it was when it did the Heist job with Javier where you rob a family. Though that could have just been a minor cough.

I think the first signs of him having it was in the hunting bison mission with Charles in chapter II. When Arthur says "What? An unguarded stage coach?" afterwards he does a muffled cough. Or in Javier's homestead robbing mission, in the same chapter, when Arthur and Javier are scoping out the home. Arthur coughs before saying "I don't know about this, Javier". Or when they're both moving the crate aside to reveal the stash of money. Arthur was coughing the whole way through the pushing sequence.

Honestly, when Arthur got diagnosed I thought I indirectly caused him to get tb due to not giving him regular baths/ trekking through mud and stuff 😭

Australia probably would’ve helped him live tuberculosis feeds off of hot humid weather it would be better for him to go to someplace dry like Arizona
