R’Bonney put so much effort into creating her own looks for miss USA and miss universe. The symbolism that she uses for everything from her national costumes even the capes for the swimsuit round is very well thought out. Lastly, this woman is a speaker! She speaks from the heart and inspires with the words she uses. The fact that people are discrediting her for winning both the national and international are failing to see the amount of dedication she had put for her fight for the crowns.

R’bonney winning is a big redemption story for her from winning miss USA despite the controversy and having to prepare and train herself without the organization supporting her and to end up being the first Filipino American to not only win miss USA but now miss universe and I knew she was too when she won miss USA but watching preliminaries I was like she’s the winner it’s a wrap and the fact she went with a gown color in black with blue gems made her already winning and yes even her answers in top 5 and 3 sealed the deal for her. Definitely the strongest miss USA in a while and another one of my favorite miss universe winners

Thank you also for reminding the audience to be sensitive to the hard work that each candidate has put into their journey to Miss Universe. I felt bad when I read reports about Miss Philippines team members walk out when she did not make it to the top 16 semi finalists. I also appreciate how you out into context the significance of R’Bonney’s victory given what she went through when she was crowned Miss USA.

I'm really glad that they brought on former Miss Universe winners to help host the show. It gives a chance for all of the contestants to connect with former winners and creates a great vibe for the show.

History repeats itself! the late Chelsi Smith, Miss Universe 1995 was crowned by Miss Universe 1994 from India Sushmita Sen after 27 years R'Bonney of the USA was crowned Miss Universe 2022 by Haarnaz Sandhu Miss Universe 2021 from India. Both Texan beauties were crowned by the Indian Queens.

Love your notes on how fans shouldn’t exit the venue simply because their contestant didn’t win. It really is important for us to cheer everyone on & maintain the positive vibes within the pageant community. 💕

I went back and watched the "How Miss USA will win Miss Universe" episode today waiting on this recap episode. That aged like a fine wine my friend. You knocked that out of the park...hair up, attention grabbing wardrobe, her shoulders in her walk, her speaking.... all of it! I am so happy for R'Bonney. Like you, I worry the Miss USA organization won't sustain this level. I think all credit goes to R'Bonney. I'm enjoying this win while I can. Thanks for all your work creating this content. You have a captive audience!!

Whatever is going on with the miss universe organization, I am so glad that R'bonney won Miss Universe on her own merit. Truly, it is a redeeming moment for R'bonney and fans how much she deserves to win the title/titles.

I just want to thank you for your support of R'bonney throughout her journey to become Miss Universe. I was part of the team that worked with her in preparation for Miss Texas and Miss USA and I can tell you that she absolutely deserved to win every title she has been crowned with. It was clear to all of us the first time we met her that beyond her obvious beauty was a very special woman indeed. No one has worked harder or been more focused than she has. She's an incredibly talented woman and is every bit as humble and kind as she appears. Thank you for your kind words that have helped to validate her throughout some challenging times.

From #nolatakesnola to #nolawinsnola

R’bonney came prepared. She was bashed but she worked hard & proved her haters wrong. Let’s support her & her authentic advocacy.

Houston, we DON’T have a problem. 👑 🚀

I liked Miss Venezuela answer, but after reading it in text, I realize it just sounds pretty. Starts with following the legacy of women that are part of the miss universe organization, Her ending sentence I am a “fashion designer, but I designer of dream”. It sounds sensational, but doesn’t really have as much substance. USA actually gives a direct answer to the question with ways she will do it and talk about investing in the community. I think the judges focused on that.

I'm so glad Dani mentioned it because when I heard Rbonneys answer my brain was just like: PIA💙. The parallels were not only there with how they mentioned the pageants mottos (transformational leader, confidently beautiful) but also in how they directly mentioned their advocacy - Pia said she would work for HIV/AIDS awareness and Rbonney talked about her efforts for sustainability and domestic abuse survivors. I feel like their answers were like essays with an intro, main idea, and supporting details.

First and foremost, it was great to meet u in person finally. Although I was rooting for Venezuela, when ppl ask me if I was happy that USA won, I said of course! I was so happy that despite all the hate and controversy, she managed to take the crown, and do it on her own with little support from her organization. So deserving. So proud of our girl.

Thanks Dani! My faves were Venezuela, South Africa, Curacao and Peru, and I was so happy that Portugal made top 16 - she was filmed when she entered the venue and I thought she had the most gorgeous smile! Happy for Laos too.
Very shocked about the names of the judges mishap at this level...
Harnaaz's final walk gown tribute was a class act!
Congrats to the beautiful new Miss Universe, she deserved it

I also love how the girls were so happy for Rbonney winning, unlike in Miss USA. They hugged her afterwards.
