After seeing some reviews of this figure, the articulation is quite decent in my opinion.

Aye, I’m trusting the process. The plastic for his skirt actually looks like thin rubber that would actually move with his legs. And they did add Luffy’s new 90 degree angle articulation as you can see in the second promo pic. Honestly, I think they should get to other characters and different forms of characters instead of focusing on different outfits. The Pre and Post Timeskip versions of the characters are an exception, though.

Sh figuarts is in my opinion making great one piece figures but I do agree with you I am worried that the articulation may be hindered my that skirt thing

I have a romance dawn Luffy and the articulation is really good. The sculpting is really nice plus the proportions. And it has good coloring and painting throughout the entire figure honestly the only thing you can compete with that is imagination works Luffy but I don't really want to spend $500 and romance on Luffy is like $34 so you really can't beat that price overall it's a great figure and I recommend buying it.

The thing is bandai actually CAN make a GOOD luffy figure. As in my humble opinion the Imagination works luffy is by far the best luffy figure. Its just a massive shame they discontinued the line.

actually on this Egghead version when luffy fought to his fullest with Luci he needs to removed the coat. Maybe I can tolerate this design

Seems like the only people I've heard complaining aren't really OP fans. I've had no issues with any of the three Luffy's they've released. This one looks pretty solid as well.

the skirt part looks like yamato's kind of and yamato has good articulation so I think articulation will be good

Be nice if he comes with an opened up skirt like the gt kid Goku to allow for more movement, personally rather have soft goods though.
