Great job Anne. Love this song. In 1962 when I was 9, the family returned to the States after three years in Japan. Dad, a Naval Officer, had served with the Seventh Fleet in Yokosuka. In Japan, my three older siblings only had a box that played 45’s. For the young people in the audience: one song on each side. Back in the States, Dad bought us kids a box that could play albums. Not sure who picked it, but the family’s first album back in America was Johnny Cash’s “Ring of Fire”. I only played it about a zillion times. Grew to love Cash, the album and the song. I still love this song today. Thanks Anne. If you ever need free lodging and food while on the road and visiting Dallas, your family is always welcomed to stay with us. Again, great job.
