Wow, college gymnastics is so different than what you see at Nationals or the Olympic or Worlds! Both fun to watch, but very different.

I just don’t understand why people can’t watch the video and say great routine and keep moving. This is college gymnastics and not elite gymnastics. These girls are having fun and have to study and not be in the gym 40 hours a week like elite gymnasts. The level of difficulty is easier and the routines are way more fun than a lot of the elite routines that have to be so difficult there is hardly any room for dancing and personality. So when all these girls that are former elites come and do routines that are slightly less difficult than their elite routines they are still super difficult in ncaa terms. And they do not give out as many 10s as you think. I miss 10s in elite gymnastics. Her routine was awesome!

I met her and she coached me at 10.0 gymnastics. She was hard on conditioning but very inspirational and she judges you hard but give you great corrections.

Her very facial expression shows confidence and that she's practiced for approved skill! She simply defies gravity and floats with impressive beauty! I can't believe that there are people out there with thumbs down on this amazing performance! What blindness, insecurities and burdens some people carry around!

People don't seem to get that it's not a deduction to step back into a lunge in NCAA. In elite now, they have to land with feet together, but in NCAA (and elite back in the old days... circa 1996-2000), stepping back into a lunge was not a deduction. She deserved the 10.
