Is This the Skyscraper of New York's Future?

Love them or hate them, New York has always had some of the most distinct.

But what do the skyscrapers of the future look like?
HISM took the question to a 3D image rendering tool, and came up with this.

The building would certainly pose engineering challenges - The seeming lack of support in some sections among them -

But it's a bold imagining of what might be coming, if the engineering can be made to match the vision.

The fire escape stairways are not safe enough, if you look you the stairways cant go any further down and in an emergency having to walk to the other side of the building to get to the next set of stairs is not practical

There’s gonna be so many 9/11 jokes, I can just already tell.
But for real though, I probably wouldn’t consider that it would need extensive care and if something did happen like a hurricane, it would probably stress it too much. Im not saying that engineers can’t accomplish building something like this, im just saying that if we push boundaries like this and if something causes it to fall while other normal skyscrapers would stand, then we costed lives to learn a lesson that shouldn’t have been taught in the first place. I would arguably say that the building should have been round because it’s structurally superior and it shouldn’t compromise too much besides square foot space.
