My dad passed away this afternoon from pneumonia. He was always a nice figure, he listened to many types of music, but this was one of the only ones that I kept very strong in my mind when he told me that it was one of his favorites, from Elvis.

When he told me that, I would never have imagined that a sertanejo from the interior of Piauí (Brasil) would be an Elvis fan and have that song as a favorite.

I spent the day solving the obligations of his death and now, back home, I came here to pay tribute to him and take the moments with him with this soundtrack in the background. I love you daddy.

Meu pai faleceu na tarde de hoje, pneumonia. Ele sempre foi uma figura simpática, ouvia muitos tipos de música, mas essa foi uma das únicas que guardei muito forte na mente quando ele me disse que era uma das favoritas dele, do Elvis.

Qnd ele me disse isso, jamais ia imaginar que um sertanejo do interior do Piauí ia ser fã de Elvis e ter essa música como favorita.

Passei o dia resolvendo as obrigações do falecimento dele e agora, já em casa, vim aqui prestar essa homenagem pra ele e levar dos momentos com ele com essa trilha sonora ao fundo. Te amo Papai.
