Can't apply transition effect between clips in Premiere Pro Fix

In this quick tutorial on Premiere Pro, I will show you how to fix the problem when you try to insert a transition in between 2 clips and it is placed at the start or end of a clip or cut instead. Usually, after placing the transition, I move it to the center or a bit off center using my mouse. Following this technique, you'll be able to move it again.

The procedure is as follow:
1. Place the transition (let it be at the end of the clip).
2. Select the transition effect.
3. Go to the effects panel.
4. Change the "alignment" using the dropdown from "start at cut" to "center at cut".
5. Then, you could even use your mouse to move the transition.

IMPORTANT: If your centre alignment is greyed out even after following the above steps, please make sure there is no gap between the 2 clips (zoom in and check or move the clip so that they're touching)!
