4:25 For those who are interested, W360, one of the founders of formd, released V2.5 after splitting from co-founder 3FC. 3FC kept the original production line and continues to sell V2.1 through formdt1, while V2.5 is sold under ncase. The V2.5 uses a single type of screw for easier installation but is otherwise similar to V2.1. Although I don't have personal experience with the V2.5, the general consensus on the SFF Discord suggest V2.5's build quality is inferior. Due to W360's questionable handling of the breakup and the reportedly better build quality I'd personally recommend the V2.1

FormD T1 / Dan C4 SFX owner here. Both great cases overall with the Dan C4 taking the cherry. Such an enjoyable and straightforward case to work on.

Recently completed a build with Terra Fractal (Jade color), and absolutely love it. It's a good center piece for me and my gf's office/game room and it really catches the eye very well. Love that case, and will keep as a starting point for all upgrades in the future!

NR200P Max ❤️ forever my favorite case. Takes a lot of the work out of building and picking parts. Sure the PSU isn't the best, but it's convenient.

I also really like the Meshroom, used it with my spare parts and put in a full ATX and 3070 ti with a radiator. I like it so much more than my main PC which is in a Lian Li O11 Air

4:02 Ok so the FormD T1 V1 was the first to market with an adjustable center spine with 2 fixed positions (2 slot vs 3 slot GPU). For *freely* adjustable spine, technically the Jimu D+ V2 was first to market (it should be noted the D+ V1 was a FormD T1 V1 clone), though W360 had clearly also been working with a freely adjustable spine in the T1 V2 before the Jimu D+ V2 hit the market.

I recommend the ssupd meshroom D instead of the S. You can get away with a noctua cooler, with 4 slim 120 fans. Found the horizontal D to have better thermals than the Vertical S.

I just love the t1 because it is legit the easiest pc case to work in, just completely open no panels in the way.

I've received the final version of the NANOQ R case from THOR ZONE today and from first impressions it is a really high quality and sturdy case. Planning to build on it tomorrow.

Just seeing how you have to pack all the cables into these builds makes me think a redesign from the ground up from case, PSU and MB manufacturers. I am not an engineer and don't know what the solution is, but seeing that wad of cables that blocks airflow on the last build just makes me think there has to be a better way to build PCs. I am going down a rabbit hole now and see there are MBs with rear mounted connectors so that is something I will explore. Would also like to see full size cases that allow GPUs to be mounted at the edge of the case and vent directly out. Steampunk builds with external radiators would also be cool, granted this would create other challenges.

Cooj z18 my fav by far, think I might do it for my upcoming build for new gen gpu and cpu🥰 love that it’s not much more volume than itx case but you can fit an matx mb for quad ram sticks, looks so much better, and I love the shape, much more like a normal pc shape just tiny and cute🙈 unlike those thick but short ones😅

I love the ncore 100 max after replacing the stock fans (incl psu fan). Upgradability’s there, esp w/ 4 slot GPU support & personally prefer the vertical design for a smaller footprint.
