This melody is quite representative of this year to me. This year my school friend group fell apart and I was left alone without knowing what I would do considering I knew them since the majority of my life. Then I met another group of friends with interests that were way more similar than the other group, one day I was speaking with one of the new friends about a battle theme in the Steven Universe Music Score that used each of the protagonist's themes when they had their time to fight. She responded by saying "Oh, they did that in the Undertale OST too" that sounded interesting to me, so a few days later I decided to listen to the Soundtrack and there was no turning back. I used to think that the Undertale Soundtrack was just Megalovania, but when I listened to the score I got fascinated by all the symbolic meaning in the music and the connections, then I got into the world, the characters everything about it. Everyone in that group was into Undertale and Deltarune, basically making daily references, so getting into it helped me bond with them in a better way and find a new place. This piece is a great way to end the year, can't wait for 2023.

I just recently finished a gaming journey almost four years long. It had joy, it had rage, heartbreak, drama, but most importantly community coming together for something bigger than any individual player...and I went out on my own terms with a last game that I couldn't have scripted any better. Last Goodbye was my outro to the stream where it ended, and that's when it hit me that it was truly over. Even though it hasn't been all that long since this happened - just 3 weeks to the day of this post, actually - thanks for another great version of the song to treasure those memories with.

For some reason, this song specifically gives me so much nostalgia from first playing and seeing undertale, it was never my favorite, but now hearing it brings back so many memories. It has now become one of my favorite pieces in the undertale OST.

Oh my god!! I really can't describe what I'm feeling right now. it's new years' eve, 2023 is in under an hour, I check youtube, and see this. this is my absolute favourite undertale song, I've been waiting for you guys to do this for.. who knows how long... anyways, thank you dearly.
