Veratrum viride

Also known as Indian Hellebore, Green False Hellebore or Corn Lily. All parts of this plant are deadly toxic. It is one of the most violently poisonous plants in the Pacific Northwest. Even small amounts can cause unconsciousness followed by death. First Nations held its medicinal values in high regard but great caution needed to be used when even handling the plant.
