Interesting! I am Eastern Orthodox, and what Benedict said about the future of the Catholic Church also seems to be true in the Orthodox Church. So many people either confused about their faith, or even leaving it altogether! So much of Orthodoxy is "watered down" just like it is in Catholicism! Both churches seem to be becoming more and more humanistic! May God grant mercy on us all, through His Beloved Son, Jesus Christ! 🙏☦️

I am not a Catholic, rather I am a protestant believer, but I had great admiration for Pope Benedict and Pope John Paul II. I am concerned that the strong belief in God's word these great men displayed has been undermined by the current Pope and the spirit of compomise with the world that flows from his influence. Despite this I see strong Catholic men and women rising up and taking the cause of God's truth boldly and without compromise more so than ever in my experience. May God bless and prosper them in their work.

Indeed, as a scientist I assert that it is irrational for a scientist, who has really thought in depth about the issue, to end up denying God's existence. As an anglican I attended a weekend retreat with Catholics but at the concluding communion service I was denied participation by a Holy Ghost Priest who at my request had consulted with the Archbishop of the Diocese.
