I'm getting back into the swing of the Daily Flip. This episode will pick up more from Episode 39. In E40, I was in Tennessee for the weekend for a few conferences, and then after that I've had to catch up on shop work and housework so to be honest, I simply have not had the time to vlog.
You'll notice that the front line to my dealership has grown! It's been great to really focus on and finish a lot of vehicles that I've had stocked up that weren't ready. It feels good to catch up on those older purchases and now that they're front line ready, I can finally cash in on flipping those and get back the money that's been invested in them plus the profit. The Audi A4 that I received on trade for a Chrysler 300 also sold early Monday while I was working a half-day, so that's great news too.
I picked up a couple new vehicles at auction Friday: a 2010 Ford Escape, a 2011 Jeep Patriot, and a 2008 Chevy HHR.
Vehicles that also need attention: the 2003 Honda Odyssey (the one that's a thorn in my side because I bought without test-driving)
I'm gauging prices for work on the Chevy Avalanche that I have. It needs a good bit of body work done on it, so we'll see who has the best price.
I'm also gonna show you a Jeep project I've got going on. My mechanic successfully removed the old, bad engine. We have the new one and my mechanic is prepping it to go in this week.
Another awesome addition to the shop is a set of tire equipment. We found these on Amazon, so we went ahead and made the purchase. It's not the top of the line Coats brand equipment, but it should get the job done. We'll now have access to wholesale prices on tires, and we can now save money on tire work that we used to outsource.
Finally, I'm just gonna make one last note about The Car Flip Course. We're updating content, and putting together some more goodies about car flipping so maybe that will resonate with any of you that are kind of on the fence about getting into the car flipping life. There is a price commitment, but the return on investment can far outweigh the initial cost if you commit and do the work. I love what I do, and it's highly profitable. I hope that others will be able to jump in and turn their own passions into profits.
Don't forget to check out The Car Flip Show podcast as a new episode will shoot out each Friday.
I try to respond to all the comments, so please take a second and say ‘Hey’ :).
