These aren't press ons, these are nail extensions. Since you don't want the length, you can save a lot of time by trying builder gel. It would help strengthen your nail and prevent biting in the same way but without the extra steps

For the cuticle push down to be less painful, let your fingers sit in warm water for 10 minutes. They’ll be easier to push and move and be painless.

Coming from a professional nail tech you shouldn’t drill your nail bed that much you just need to take off the shine of you do that a lot you’ll end up with and infection

It is recommended that you do file the inside of the press on nails for them to stay on longer!!

I hope your nails are okay hun 🥺 you never want to use that grit of a sanding band with the electric drill on your natural nails it’s so damaging! Try using the nail buffer (it is square) and a nail file that’s less abrasive normally thin and red on one side and tan on the other 💗💗

Yes always file the press ons! It takes away the shine and helps the gel stick better

Personally I have fake nails so I don't bite them! Also you can get horrific infections deom nail biting so anything that stops it is good.
Also those look sooo good!

Really good job! Just make sure the nail drill isn’t too high of a speed because you have better control with a slower speed. :)
