A tip for drawing straight lines in CSP: in the brush settings under correction turn on post correction and pull it all the way up to 100. Also enable "bezier curve". Now any line will get completely straightened out between the start and the end point of the stroke. It is different from using shift, because it will still consider pen pressure so you can get variation in opacity or width in your lines.

I love your first grainy brush! With color it looks like colored pencil.

Yes, CSP brush engine is funky. At certain brush sizes it just can't handle complex brushes. Some break at even 250 pixel size. I think because mostly CSP is single core (and of course does not use GPU for canvas and cursor rendering).

I downloaded your brush pack and it works great. After I upgraded CSP to version 3, most of the brushes either stopped working or became very slow. In your pack, all the brushes are working fine!

I'm very excited to try these. I bought your drawing and painting brushes a while back, using them in CSP since I prefer that program over PS. As you said, they didn't all behave properly in CSP, but most worked well enough. But a pack designed for CSP is bound to be great. I'm particularly eager to try the crease brush. And those grainy ones look very nice. Totally different from my usual style, but if I can get results close to what you demonstrated, I might be a convert.

Also, while I'm sorry you're having problems with PS, I must admit it's pretty cool to see you using CSP. I'm not a fanboy of the program or anything, but since it's what I use, I find it inspiring to see what can be done with the software by artists I admire.

I tested this brush on the same canvas size as in the video on iPad Air M2, they performs quite well

Setting up your own custom brush is pain in the ass in CSP, I thought is simple as making any images as template for brush tip and texture, but nope, we need to fiddle around with canvas properties. xd
Ive still learning the ins and out of it.

I'm excited to see more Clip Studio content! I have been considering the switch myself recently, are you liking Clip Studio more than Photoshop? Is there anything you miss about Photoshop that you can't achieve in Clip Studio?

Christophe, your old original brushes work fine on my end. Maybe editing the pressure setting and texture density might help.

Yes! So these are the same as the brushes you used in the YouTube video where you drew and painters the blond female character from the pose pack ?? :). If they are I need these for CSP. That blond character looked so realistic and 😍😍👌

I wish I could move to clip studio too, but sadly it's not that optimized for big canvas and since I work with big printable material I'm still stuck with PS

Also you can use your gpu by going to perferences setting, go to performance tab and choose opengl
