Can you set it for tone only for the remote training function?

Would this work with any sport dog training collar or do I need to buy a whole new collar?

Can you train dog with remote while he's in the contained fence area? Exp. inside our house and someone comes over to visit I'd like to train our dog to NOT jump on visitor will the remote work with a shock if pressed? I had read the remote training remote only works when dog is outside the fenced area. Please confirm

If the collar is in "contain and train mode, " will it still vibrate and stimulate if the dog tries to cross the boundary? Or would you have to use the remote to give stimulation if the dog tries to cross the boundary?
