Crochet Easy Elephant Tutorial - Crochet Applique Tutorial

In my crochet tutorial today I'll be showing you how to make this easy crochet elephant applique.

For this pattern you will need grey and white crochet cotton or wool, I used 8 ply wool which is light worsted in the US and double knit in the UK. A crochet hook, I used a 3mm hook. Scissors, a darning needle to weave in ends and a sewing needle and thread to stitch the elephant together. Black and white thread to embroider on eyes, the trunk markings and the toenails.

The finished size will be 13cm x 9.5cm (5” x 3.5”) for the larger elephant, using 8 ply wool. The small elephant will be 7cm x 6cm (2.75” x 2.25”) when using 4 ply crochet cotton.
