Hi Jason, are you sure that is 2 x XD motors? What I read on Sonys website the lens has 2 X Linear motor [LN] not the 2 x [XD LM]

I’m gonna need a longer review of this 16-25mm to the 16-35mm GM2 . I have a student discount from B&H that allows me to get the GM2 for $1950, but still waiting for the edu price for the 16-25mm, I’m thinking it will be about $1050 . Trying to see what’s the justified price for a hobbiest that does paid gigs about 1 or 2 times every couple months . I have a Sony A7IV. Been looking for a good wide angle zoom lens .

I own the Tamron 17-28 and am very happy with it. But a Sony 16-25mm f2.8 is hard to resist. It would fit nicely on my Sony a7cr. And the price seems fair compared to the Sony FE 16-35mm f/2.8 GM II Lens

Just got my 16-25 to replace my Sigma 14-24. This lens is awesome. It feels like a glitch in the matrix having such a small 2.8 zoom.

My kit is the Sony 20 mm 1.8 and the 55 1.8 g 😅 can it be included in the Jason combo ?

Meh... not excited about this one. I think the PZ16-35 is a better option for most people. The extra range is better for one lens carry, most people are stopping down with angle images, it's internal zoom, versus reverse zoom and it's smaller and lighter. Yes it's an f4 vs the sexier f2.8 but I think it's better in every other way.
