There's still a bunch of Star Wars games on the GameCube that I haven't played yet and funnily enough they are all released in 2002, which is pretty early in the GameCube era. You definitely notice this with the clunky controls and mild annoyances during gameplay. The gameplay was practiced and I also died a bunch of times later in the game which makes recorded gameplay look smoother than the game might actually feel like when you play it yourself and aren't very good at it.

Anyway, fun game with some levels being very frustrating due to bad platforming or simply being hard to navigate through. You can also hunt for bounties and unlock extra rewards through that.. so there's plenty to do here to make your money's worth. Whilst it doesn't hold up very well with todays standards, it still makes a fun game to play.

I also had to mute part of the opening cinematic because it has caused big problems before in other Star Wars games with mobile viewing. The audio gets put back on when the actual fmv starts so

I'd love it if one day they made a really in depth Star Wars bounty hunter game, where you get to hunt down different main story and side mission targets across the galaxy, and get to invest your money. You'd start out as a wannabe with terrible weapons and armour, and a crappy ship, but with the more money and experience you gain you can buy new ones and/or upgrade them, and become a skilled badass.

This was EASILY one of my most favorite games. I can remember being like 8 years old having no idea how to play this game right. I think it took me a month to get past the docking bay part lol

Head of game dev: Yes

Loved this game to bits while playing it as a kid. Felt so nostalgic watching this

For a 2002 game; the surface reflections on Jango's armor are pretty amazing.

Legend of a game, just re-completed it on my GameCube. This extremely under-rated game, was literally my childhood. It's amazing how advanced this game was especially for a 2002 game, and all these cut scenes and animation. Literally a hidden gem, that not many people know about, and I'm glad for that. Really happy I still have it's orginial, and still playing till this day.

That fact that Star Wars has since failed to incorporate the Bounty Hunter theme music into any other mediums of Star Wars entertainment is a shame.

I remember being terrified of the Bando Gora when I was a kid to the point I would only play the game up until the last part of the death stick factory when they first show up lol

I miss these days, when any Star Wars game had the intro logo crawl. There was no ''star wars story'' bs.
